Why it is small
The gift is deliberately small. It is close to nothing at an event like this, and it maps to something you could pick up and hold: one kit, one lesson, one seat on the bus.
That means every guest can give, and nobody is asked to fund an abstraction. It also means the total is a headcount rather than a figure on a slide.
Sponsors can match the room. If your organisation wants to double whatever is raised on the day, we will set that up and credit it properly.
Giving opens soon
The campaign amount and the payment page go live closer to the event. If you want to give ahead of the day, or sponsor the match, write to us and we will take it from there.
Every gift goes to the arts programme. Nothing is taken out for running the event.

Time with an artist
Hours with a working local artist, paid properly, in a classroom that would not otherwise have one.
Seats on the bus
Transport to the cultural heritage tours, which is usually the reason a student cannot attend.
Heritage and education,in the same room
Vintage Gala exists because old things are worth keeping. The same argument applies to a tradition of making. Everything given on the day goes to the girls who will carry it next.
